Tee IT Up Texas! The 5th Annual State of Texas Governemnt IT Customer Appriciation Golf Tournament was played on Friday, October 24, 2008 at Lion's Golf Club in Austin, Texas. IT vendors for the state of Texas and state IT employees will get together again for this annual event. This scramble tournament is where vendors and state employees can get together and enjoy a fun day on the golf course. Two state employees are required with each four-man team. The 3rd Annual Bannockburn Men's Fellowship Golf Tournament is to be held at Tour 18 in Houst, Texas in July this year (2008). Charitable and Fundraising Golf Events

A golf tournament is a proven way to raise money for a good cause. Ultimate Golf Productions works very closely with our clients to take the administrative burden of planning and running the golf tournament so that they can focus on the marketing and promotion of their event. Our services include a tournament website that allows for player and sponsor registration and payment, auction items to be displayed, and status reports on how the tournament is progressing. We also offer assistance in obtaining sponsors for the event.

Charitable Golf Tournaments

This is the type of golf event that has a specific 501(c)3 entity as the recipient of the profits generated. Examples of these types of entities are:

  • Churches
  • Schools
  • Civic Oraganizations
  • Other non-profit businesses
This is usually a sponsored event by numerous sponsors who share their values with the charity or cause. There are a variety of formats that can be played for these type events and Ultimate Golf Productions will work with our clients to select the best format.

 

Fundraiser Golf Events

This is the type of golf event that is for a specific cause. The cause can be either a tax exempt or non-tax exempt cause. Examples include:

  • Church building projects
  • Hospital projects
  • School fundraising project
  • Environmental projects
  • Helping a neighbor who has suffered a severe loss
This is also a sponsorship type event and there are a variety of formats, including a competitive, individual medal play, and fun team tournaments.
